How To Make Photography For NG – Viktor’s Lecture
On April 28, 2020, our leader Viktor Lyagushkin gave a three-hour lecture in Zoom on how to shoot for National Geographic magazine. It is amazing how many new things we have learned: what are the criteria for choosing the material, how to find a topic that may interest the magazine, how to make your photo story according to the requirements of the editors. Viktor gave examples of his projects both under water and underground.

Artist Andrey Veter and Princess of Whales
The famous Russian artist, writer and director Andrey Veter was inspired by Viktor Lyagushkin’s photography from the project “Princess of Whales” and described his own vision in the picture.
Exhibition Impossible is Possible in Troitsk, Moscow, Russia
Yesterday, November 4, our exhibition “Impossible Is Possible” opened in the House of Scientists in the town of Troitsk near Moscow. It shows photos from various projects: #Seagull, Genie Jar, Being a Dolphin, Princess of Whales. In total, 18 works of 60x90cm are presented.
The exposition aroused keen interest. Photographers who came to the opening were interested in how the images were taken, which cameras and lenses were used, and asked a lot of questions about the physics and technology of underwater shooting.
The exhibition takes place as part of the All-Russian tour of the Photoparade in Uglich and will last until November 14.

Viktor Lyagushkin & Seventeen Strobes
October 4, Moscow hosted the presentation of the sixth issue of Yevgeny Feldman’s slick magazine Svoy, which was completely dedicated to Viktor Lyagushkin’s art. Photos and stories “from caves and seas” on the pages of the new issue, and even more remarkable stories by Viktor during the presentation captivated the audience.

The #Seagull movie has been shown during the St-Petersburg International Festival Festival of Festivals (20 – 29 june, St.Petersburg,Russia). It was a part of out-of-competition show of works-Laureates of the 8th Independent International Internet Festival of Author’s Cinema IISFF 8.
#Seagull Feature Short Movie Wins Grand Prix!
Another victory! Our clip #Seagull received the high award – the Grand Prix of the 8th International Independent Internet Short Film Festival in the category “Short Film.” Congratulations to all who have helped, directly or indirectly, and it is your well-deserved victory.
