Dolphin Encyclopedia

afalinaDear Reader,

We have to admit that we have grown to like dolphins so much that we cannot say goodbye to them. If you also have this feeling and would like to see the continuation of our dolphin project, then we invite you to do this with us.

The next step after the printed book “Being a Dolphin” (in Russian) and the iBook “100 Facts about Dolphins” will be the large interactive “Dolphin Encyclopedia”, with video, sounds, new interesting details and facts, and of course new photographs. And you, dear reader, can help us with this.

If you like this book and you would like to thank the authors with a comment or a small financial contribution, and also support our encyclopedia, you can do this here on our website.

Every little bit helps the “Dolphin Encyclopedia”!

Our New Office

наш новый офис

This is Tver Quarry near the city of Tver, Russia.
The Nikon company is working on educational spot with Viktor and they needed some underwater scene. The closest site with water transparent enough was Tver Quarry.
Viktor had found this was a great opportunity to test his new Nikon D4s in his new Subal housing and asked freediver Igor Azhykin to come over and be his model.
Now you see the result.

Boot Show 2015

Boot Show 2015The Team just came back from the Boot Show 2015 in Dusseldorf. The Show was stunning; there were a lot of interesting meetings. We were really happy to meet Todd Essick, David Pilosof and Rico Bessederich.
And the most important thing for us was time with the Subal company. As you know recently Viktor changed for Nikon D4S and Subal kindly agreed to sponsor us with the housing for his new camera.
It’s black and cool. Nothing could be better. We are happy!
Thank you, Harald Karl and all the Subal team!

Dolphin. Myths and Reality

To Be a DolphinDolphin. Myths and Reality – this is the theme of our lecture in National Geographic Russia headquarters, which had been held today. We were so happy to meet people, concerned on problems of our environment and interested in nature so deeply.

We only could wish to have such an audience for any our project! They listened attentively, asked a lot of questions.

Read more about the lecture here.

Interview for Digital Photo (UK)

Viktor InterviewGreat interview with Viktor Lyagushkin for Digital Photo (UK).

We were glad to communicate with so professional journalists asking very important questions and answered with great pleasure.
And the result is an interview we are very proud of.

Almost all the emblematic photographs are there: Orda Cave and Blue Lake, and of course “Princess of Whales” with beluga whales and Natalie Avseenko.

We also took the opportunity to mention and thank our cponsors: Nikon, Subal and Ikelite companies.
