Exhibition Impossible is Possible in Troitsk, Moscow, Russia

Yesterday, November 4, our exhibition “Impossible Is Possible” opened in the House of Scientists in the town of Troitsk near Moscow. It shows photos from various projects: #Seagull, Genie Jar, Being a Dolphin, Princess of Whales. In total, 18 works of 60x90cm are presented.

The exposition aroused keen interest. Photographers who came to the opening were interested in how the images were taken, which cameras and lenses were used, and asked a lot of questions about the physics and technology of underwater shooting.

The exhibition takes place as part of the All-Russian tour of the Photoparade in Uglich and will last until November 14.

#Seagull at Moscow Dive Show 2018

The #Seagull exhibition had been held 1 – 4 of February within Moscow Dive Show 2018. The Show becomes more and more popular, and this year it attracted 20 000 visitors from different countries.

24 meters of walls decorated with blue fabric and unusual photos showed to visitors underwater and under ice world of Lazurny Quarry, where the project had been performed.

At the opening ceremony Viktor Lyagushkin’s fans presented to the photographer a crocheted camera created by artist Jesika Geut. This is an accurate copy of the photographer’s favourite camera Nikon Df.

#Seagull Project is Announced!

#Seagull is a project of freedom, finding oneself, about life after death and love conquering death.

Freedom, love and flight – it’s hard to say how they are related, but somehow the simple words excite all the people of our planet. They make us dream, make our hearts run faster, this is something that is worth living.

Our project is named #Seagull. Seagull is not just a bird, it is a symbol of struggle, symbol of soul, connection between the worlds, a personification of grief and happiness. It is Jonathan Livingston Seagull flying from the parable by Richard Bach; it is the Stormy Petrel by Maxim Gorky. Our New Office

This is Tver Quarry near the city of Tver, Russia.
The Nikon company is working on educational spot with Viktor and they needed some underwater scene. The closest site with water transparent enough was Tver Quarry.
Viktor had found this was a great opportunity to test his new Nikon D4s in his new Subal housing and asked freediver Igor Azhykin to come over and be his model.
