A permanent exhibition dedicated to the biodiversity of the Caucasus was opened at the National Museum of Georgia (Tbilisi) a couple of days ago. The National Geographic (Georgia) Magazine took part in the creation of the exhibition. The visitors will admire dioramas, read and listen to information about the fauna and flora of the Caucasus. Among the most valuable exhibits of the exhibition are stuffed animals, some of which had been made 150 years old. It is sad to realize that already many of these species are not to be found in the wildlife.
In the National Geographic educational corner which is located in the second hall of the exposition, films are unspooled on two screens. Among them there is a documentary about the expedition into the National Park of Vashlovani. It was an assignment from National Geographic (Georgia), during which me and Viktor Lyagushkin spent a couple of months collecting material, making pictures and capturing video about this wonder of nature.
January 24, 2018, within the framework of the PhotoFest in the Kyiv School of Photography the exhibition by Viktor Lyagushkin and the team PHOTOTEAM.PRO “Walking under the sea” was opened. The basis of the exhibition was stills from the project #Seagull and retrospective of previous projects: Being a Dolphin, Magic World of the Blue Lake, Princess of Whales, Lady of the Orda Cave.
At the opening lecture Viktor told about the projects presented at the exhibition, about his vision of photography and held a small quiz with his book “Being a Dolphin” as a prize.
The exhibition will last until March 12, 2018.

“Museum of one picture” is an exhibition which has started in the framework of the Festival of Contemporary Photography at Moscow Exhibition Center, pavilion №59 “Grain”. The exhibition is represented by the only one photograph: the work by Viktor Lyagushkin “We are of one blood.”
This is a picture from the project “Princess of Whales”, on which the two-time champion and world record holder Natalie Avseenko swims with beluga whales under the ice of the White Sea.
On our photo to this post Natalie stands herself beside this remarkable photograph.
Famous Russian designer, Tatyana Parfionova used the photograph of a swan by Viktor Lyagushkin for her impressive dress which illustrates the idea of her exhibition dedicated to the world’s greatest ballet-dancer Maya Plesetskaya.
The fidelity and love, happiness and tragedy of a swan touches the bottom of a soul and is the accurate expression of the perfect ballet-dancer, says Tatyana Parfionova.
The Team just came back from the Boot Show 2015 in Dusseldorf. The Show was stunning; there were a lot of interesting meetings. We were really happy to meet Todd Essick, David Pilosof and Rico Bessederich.
And the most important thing for us was time with the Subal company. As you know recently Viktor changed for Nikon D4S and Subal kindly agreed to sponsor us with the housing for his new camera.
It’s black and cool. Nothing could be better. We are happy!
Thank you, Harald Karl and all the Subal team!
