From July 26 to August 12, 2016 in a cozy Loft at Malaya Ordynka (str. Malaya Ordynka, 25, Moscow, Russia) owned by our wonderful friend Helen Marshall, an exhibition had been held, which was first presented photos from the project #Seagull, as well as first-run documentaries and feature short films from the Project.
Many thanks to Elena and her team for their help in organizing the event and exhibition design. Thank you, Elena, everything had been done highly professionally!
We are happy to present to you the video from our #Seagull Project. Many thanks to those who had helped to create it: those who were part of the team, and those who supported our project on the crowdfunding site Boomstarter, those who help with post-production (absolutely for completely free), and those who visited us on the quarry for the weekend and helped both under water and on the surface, and those who just sometimes pleased us with cakes and hot tea in a thermos. There are pieces of your care in the short of each of you!
Meet our new project #Seagull! Teaser is ready, documentary and feature short coming soon! Twice world champion and record holder in free diving Natalie Avseenko and National Geographic (Russia) photographer, Nikon Ambassador, Subal Pro Team member Viktor Lyagushkin starring. See them at 27th of July, 2016
UW video for the #Seagull_Flight project we will shoot with Nikon D750 camera, the newest housing for which is sponsored us by the SUBAL company.
PHOTOTEAM.PRO has a long friendship with the company: we work together since 2011, and since then all my underwater pictures you have seen, were made in SUBAL housings.
This is the best thing on the market of equipment for underwater photographers; a SUBAL housing is not just reliable, it is able to withstand the toughest conditions, it is very convenient for shooting in both warm and cold water, when there are thick gloves on photographer’s hands; it is made with the highest quality and thought out to the smallest detail.
SUBAL is bright minds of young engineers and precise hands of experienced Austrian craftsmen. SUBAL is made in the heart of Europe.
The world’s only underice UW artist, Denis Lotarev Art will join the #Seagull expedition. He is going to draw a picture of the Seagull (Natalie Avseenko) staying underwater during photo and video shooting.
This is a vivid illustration how people share ideas if they are really good. Do wish Denis to create a new vision and add one more dimension into the project.
#Seagull is a project of freedom, finding oneself, about life after death and love conquering death.

Our project is named #Seagull. Seagull is not just a bird, it is a symbol of struggle, symbol of soul, connection between the worlds, a personification of grief and happiness. It is Jonathan Livingston Seagull flying from the parable by Richard Bach; it is the Stormy Petrel by Maxim Gorky. It is a story of difficult obstacles, intractable obstacles, the will, desire, and feelings of a person who wins what cannot be beat. Continue reading
